very interesting , thanks alot that was really insightful .
where back then u could've enrolled for a 3 year course?
is that an aws course ? ur time being a student ? (if so how did the know how long u'r being a student)
Well, it has nothing to do with AWS Courses.
When you apply for the AWS Educate (Student) from the following link,
https://www.awseducate.com/registrationYou will first select
Student followed by inputting your details, this is the exact page where you include those details from which AWS can trace your academic details.
In this case,
Graduation Month and
Graduation Year is the part i'm referring to, whatever you input over here is assumed as the
Month/Year when you pass-out from the School/College, because that text field itself has an information (i.e. Placeholder) stating "
Provide the month and year you expect to complete the current degree, program, or course that you are working on"
Currently if you see the Graduation Year field, the maximum year that you can select from there is 2025, so after that year no student would ever receive that $100 AWS Credit (Student), unless AWS revise their policy again in the future.
Like i said earlier, roughly the maximum duration looks like 5 more years from now and then every student enrolling in AWS Educate would only have the AWS Starter Account.
So this is how it works, hope so it's much clearer to you now.
