It depends on how you look at the losing situation one example of a bright side after losing is that you don't have to lose even more because if we do win a few times we'll still gamble and lose it anyway.

From how I understand it looking the bright side prevents you from having negative thoughts instead of expecting a lose it somewhat helps boost your confidence it helps you untilt when you're in a losing streak. It won't make you lucky but still has some impacts to it since you could make bad decisions when you're tilted.
