I understand exactly why Cnut237 is posting historical past issues and present day dangers some words and behaviours of Trump pose but the counter argument I see from several users does not carry an weight because it mostly consists of "others have said something and Trump has been on the receiving end".

That argument is petty and appropriate for this thread, it seems to be used as an excuse for diversion tactics. I created this thread to discuss the possible reasons for the state assembly of California to apologise for voting with the Roosevelt administration to have prison camps for Japanese Americans.

Instead of posting all of Trump’s let’s-incite-some-racial-hatred tweets, let’s have a look at the effects of what he says. There was that ABC investigation which found 36 criminal cases where Trump was invoked in direct connection with violent acts, threats of violence or allegations of assault. By comparison, they found zero criminal cases where an act of violence or threat was made in the name of Obama or even George W Bush.
I’ve highlighted the Mexican and Muslim bits, but really he doesn’t discriminate in his hatred: they’re all bad.

So then is Bernie Sander's to blame for the man who shot Congressman Scalise and the others at the softball game? Is Sander's to blame for the guy who drove his car into Trump supporters? No.

Your entire list is bogus because it doesn't deal with the key issue: who decides who enters the US? US citizens or everyone else. IF it's US citizens, through their elected officials, pass laws then these laws should be followed.
