To be honest, hackers are more advanced than us. On the other hand, hackers can't get control of your device without your help. For example, during install a new apps it will ask for permission, did you ever noticed what permissions have been giving? Most of virus enter on our device via software and suspicious links (especially from porno sites). So we should prevent such as attack in order to protect our cryptocurrency.

I will not suggest to use paper wallet due to various reason. Only use hardware wallet to keep your cryptocurrency safe. But of course you have to prevent virus as well they could get control of your clipboard. No system are safe, always double check your addresses during sent fund. Don't store your fund on exchange for long time to avoid attack.

Hacking softwares are getting advanced as these hackers are always in the pursuit of more sophisticated tools. Of course they are after for the money so they need to find ways on how to acquire it easily. So it is always better to use hardware wallet rather than smartphone apps when it comes to storing your crypto portfolio.
Agree, hackers nowadays are really more advanced than before.. Even binance had experienced such hacking problems where in even the kyc details of each users got leak.. But the good thing is, binance really secured it's inventors funds thru their SAFU... So it means that even exchanges are really prone to hacking.. It is not safe to keep our investment there... That's why we need to find a way to secured our coins thru other options like paper wallet or hardware wallets wherein you are the only one who knows all the details of it..
