My question is: Do you spend the money you gain with the service you are working for?
No, I am currently using the money I earn to invest for altcoins I choose to hold until the bull run comes. I don't spend it since I want to maximize making a profit.Sometimes I do some gamble, and I always prefer to spend the money on the website that are paying me, I think it's fair and a way to say thanks 
I don't think that your way to express your gratitude is really weird, it is unnecessary to actually use the money you earn just to say thanks to them. Well, anyways that is your hard-earned money.
