Not many talked much about waves, and I never seen it very promoted, I did hear it is a great project from few trustworthy sources that can understand code tho.
Yes waves not much popular to traders also here in Bitcointalk not really talk about waves. Even waves has own market that you can trade but I never heard it anymore no one promoting it. Maybe waves is a coins but why isn't it popular to trader.
