If the funds were sent to a wallet that gives you control over your private keys, it would've been easy to recover the coins but since you sent them to an exchange/custodial wallet, then, you can try and contact Coinbase's support. Not sure you'll get the necessary help though, because apparently, that there have been similar cases[1]|2] that never got solved.
