Leaving aside obvious wealth protection purchases such as gold, silver and Bitcoin, how can we profit from the current major changes. One interesting area id the shift away from the large media platforms like YouTube. I think content producers and bloggers should be using a variety of platforms, and trying to pick up revenue in crypto currencies. It also seems to be a good time to start a new project of business, but what is going to be profitable in the new and changed world?
There have been several attempts to do so, such as Dailymotion and Vid.me but they ultimately failed and YouTube reigns superior once again.
As much as we'd love to see some decent competitors, YT has the tools and resources no other company has. Being part of Google, they know us way more than our parents do (jk, but you get the idea) thanks to the shitton of servers all over the globe. Heck, they even track us despite not being logged in.
If you've noticed, there are lots of China YouTubers (despite YT being banned in China).
I have to admit, YouTube encompasses what we desire on a video sharing platform. It just feels so natural. Except the demonetization and copyright shenanigans.
