As I understand it, UK and Sweden are taking a different approach.
The plan is to slowly reach herd immunity while protecting the risk groups until herd immunity is reached.
That's why Sweden hasn't closed any schools or anything else for that matter, everything runs as usual here, people aren't even using masks. The advise is to keep distance, stay at home, wash your hands often, and use hand sanitizers.
The press is having a field day and social media is full of outraged people, I would not be surprised if the government buckles under the pressure and changes strategy.

Edit: there is also a ban of more than 500 people gatherings.
