Italy has utilized blockchain technology to fight back. Earlier it was reported, the Italian charity organization, Red Cross, has introduced a blockchain platform to collect donations to combat the disease. Recently, Sella, an Italian bank, has introduced a
new service to trade bitcoins.
Great news, but not sure if it is authentic. I have heard Red Cross using crypto currencies to collect donation (not sure if it was red cross, but yeah it was an organization that started accepting donations through crypto currencies). But, Banks and crypto currencies don't go with each other. Kinda sounds like its totally a centralized trading system. But still, its helping them, so yeah, they should continue.
The article at the end states that no verification or KYC is needed. So how are they going to fight fraudulent transactions?
