while going through bounty threads, I came across rewards in the form of stakes. like if you post 40 times on bitcointalk.org you will get 500 stakes. Does that mean you will get 500 coins?
stakes means coins or something else.
can somebody explain this?

If bounty uses stake in calculating then they will definitely guide in their topic. So you just need to read their topic carefully before asking any questions, and also choose the bounty that has less participants because you will get more tokens with the stake you get.
