while going through bounty threads, I came across rewards in the form of stakes. like if you post 40 times on bitcointalk.org you will get 500 stakes. Does that mean you will get 500 coins?
stakes means coins or something else.
can somebody explain this?
thanks
Many newbies (just like yourself) confused stake as exact allocation of coins that they'll recieve ones the campaign is over although that's not the case as stakes recieved during your period of participation in a campaign doesn't automatically means the exact number of coins you'll recieve.
Just skimmed through some replies before mine and i can see more than one reply from different users that have done justice to what stakes are. Incase you're still confused do well to join the telegram group created for the purpose of inquiring about the campaign and ask your question directly to the manager to give you an answer although it won't be different from what have been said here.
Stake is a mechanic deploy that's used to calculate the distribution of fund/coins in the bounty pool to the bounty participants.
