Only wins are displayed he can easily be in negative, even when bet id differences are small
That's not right.
Both wins and losses are displayed on the leaderboard, but losses are only displayed if they are considered a high-roller amount. You can see that some of the bet IDs are so close together he almost certain got some back to back impressive wins.
Since people play with a multiplier, it's easier to appear on the high roller leaderboard since the multiplied bet amount can exceed the threshold, whereas a small loss wouldn't.
