Have you guys heard about the coinomat scam?

Dear customers,

We regret to inform you that all withdrawal options will be entirely suspended starting March 20, 2020.
All withdrawal requests sent after March 20, 2020 will be returned back to sender.
In case you still need to withdraw your funds, please be ready to provide the source of tokens you want to withdraw.

Thank you for your understanding,

Kind regards,
Coinomat team

Hello,

As you may know, all fiat transactions have been suspended since December 2019. We wanted to help our customers to receive their funds, so we offered you an option to withdraw your funds in BTC at the Binance rate and with no fees at all.
Our initial purpose was to help our customers to withdraw their fiat deposits, because our bank suspended all fiat transactions. Though our arrangement with Waves ended in December.
Please submit the source of the tokens you want to withdraw to speed up the withdrawal process.
Tokens which have been bought on the exchange cannot be withdrawn and it will be sent back to your account, because it can't be considered as your fiat deposit.

Thank you for understanding,
Coinomat team

Funny thing is they said afterwards and there is many proof you can withdraw.

Now you can only withdraw funds which have been deposited 😂 with other words deposit usd and let it sit in your account don’t do anything with them and withdraw them.

Many people have funds stuck now.

But waves and coinomat told the funds were backed 1 by 1. Also a lot of proof of that.

27 november 2019:
Statements on wUSD/wEUR and Tether (USDT)

With the move to Waves.Exchange, we are informing about operation of the existing fiat-backed stablecoins (wUSD and wEUR), and adding Tether USD (USDT).

wUSD and wEUR

Migration from the Waves DEX to the new Waves.Exchange involves resolving not only numerous technical issues, but also several legal ones. Waves DEX users have previously used the Coinomat gateway services to trade with fiat funds. Due to the restructuring, Coinomat will not be able to act as a fiat operator for Waves.Exchange. This means two things:

1. Waves.Exchange is looking for a new fiat deposit/withdrawal partner. Negotiations are currently underway with several companies. Once these have been concluded, deposits and withdrawals of wUSD and wEUR will be resumed within the new exchange setup. Until then, we want to assure wUSD and wEUR holders that their assets are fully backed with fiat, and are worth 1 USD  and 1 EUR, respectively.

2. Waves.Exchange will not be limited to a single provider, and the deposit/withdrawal process will be greatly simplified over time.

USDT

We are completing the preparatory work for the launch of USDT according to the ERC-20 standard. After December 2, this asset will appear on the exchange dashboard. The USDT gateway will go live before the end of this year.

Nice scam coinomat and waves!
