The team should can't really store the word phrases.
It's just like your seed phrase wallet crypto if they can handle just by contact them via email it's mean they stored all the word phrases and can access the account a bit dangerous for the user. If you lose seed phrased you lost the account same like crypto wallet went you lose the seed/private key you lost the wallet.
That's right none of the legit wallets or company doesn't store the user word phrases so the user is the sole responsibility of their account private key or word phrases. Guys if you are depositing quite a bit of money then make sure you have two copies of the keys or phrases stored in two different places to avoid losing them and at the same time don't make multiple copies it may lead to data leak as well
