I loved digibytes until I realize it is premined like hell. I still love it and mine too, but less. I think it is great coin.. I have good feeling from it, and I was stayed with it even if it looked lost last weeks. BTW, write more info about digishield at first page because I have no idea what it is.
We understand your concern and respect your opinion on the matter, but understand a few other things. Without the pre-mine we would not be able to develop and be as committed as we are right now. The 0.5 % premine is now effectively less than 0.25% and is very small compared to other coins.
The Premine allows for:
1) Server Expenses
2) Development Costs
3) Advertising Costs
4) Will help pay for expenses related to the Crypto Convention in New York
5) Labor expenses
Most importantly, the premine giveaway in the first two weeks allowed us to get DigiBytes in several thousand wallets world wide. You motivate people to download a wallet when you give part of a premine away. We gave over half away in the first few weeks. Now we use the rest for continued development. These initial steps helped separate us from most of the other coins launched around the same time.
Launching a successful coin is not cheep. Why should we work 12-16 hours a day, sometimes 7 days a week for nothing?
