But coinmarketcap only uses algorithms to gather data from exchange. Listing on CMC doesnt mean anything. Everyone can fill the form and get " listed" or as I would say "have a page on coinmarketcap". Listing on cmc is like listing in excel...This is just a list... The problem is that naive users thinks that listing there means altcoin is traded somewhere.
