I’ve heard mixed thoughts on if each country eventually created their own cryptocurrency, would Bitcoin still be number 1 or would it fizzle out. Some say it would legitimize Bitcoin even more, others say it would make Bitcoin obsolete.
What are your thoughts?
Country specific cryptocurrency would be famous or more used within that country. In that sense country like China and India where the population is very big, the marketcap of their native cryptocurrency would be huge. So, if we consider marketcap then Bitcoin would not be the number one. Moreover the citizen of these countries will be forced to use these cryptocurrencies.
