If you're gonna go via corona, you'll most likely be heavily sedated hooked up to a machine for days or weeks before it happens. 

Imagine having the person you're closest to put on a ventilator and quarantined.  Almost no updates.  You can't see them.  Could you still function while waiting for the phone to ring?
