I agree with you. They just move from physical gambling places to online gambling sites, it seems not very different. As they still do the same activities (playing gambling), I think the addicts have no problem with the current situation. Surely they will think easily to stay at home temporarily with the same habits, and they will come back to physical gambling places once the Coronavirus is over. Even, this situation makes them possibly have two kinds of activities then, physical + online gamblings.
Not all I guess because some just only focus in one game, and if they have been gambling in physical casinos all their life, they might not be able to enjoy online gambling casino and not everyone are really educated on how to use an online gambling casino, some would not trust it and some are not open to learn online gambling.. For me, if a person is already addicted, I think this situation would help him if he can't find an option to gamble.
