Good to know that you are only looking for Platform in which you and friends can enjoy playing chess as i am also a fan,actually if i remember it right Facebook offers this kind of Table that you can play together with your Facebook friends(am not sure about this because its been long time that i encounter such)
Yups this is what we also do in this Pandemic ,same as other gameboards(old stuffs) like Millionaires Game ,Game of the General and card games Battle Tanks.
