There is a BIP9 soft fork scheduled to happen on April 10th 2020.

If enough miners use the new wallet then the consensus will be reached and the soft fork will happen.

If not, then we shall try again in the future, but there is a very high percentage of orphan blocks for hive miners so we trust it will pass.

Contrary to hard forks, if the consensus is not democratically adopted, then it's still OK with old wallets but we hope the new one will be much better for hive miners, without impacting Scrypt ( normal PoW ) miners at all.

Starting on April 10th, if at least 1920 blocks out of 2560 ( 75 % ) are made with wallet v0.16.0.5 then the new consensus parameters will automatically be applied.
