Yesterday I read about a U.K. bill being past, allowing the government to cremate corpses against their own will, the will of the family or even religious objections. I wouldn't be surprised if the U.S. is already thinking of similar measures.
Unsure about this, I feel the UK is very much culturally different from the US. It would be better if someone living in the United States told us about it
Religiously, and regarding cultural rituals regarding deaths, the US and the UK are almost identical. The USA already had emergency orders on the books allowing them to create mass graves or cremate bodies in a pandemic or other emergency.
