You should be OK... I've seen studies and they all come to the conclusion that after 72 hours out of the body, the virus particles break down and are no longer infectious (even in ideal conditions).

If you buy a miner, i'd just accept the package from the carrier, place it in an unused room for 72 hours (wash your hands after accepting the package) and only open it once those 72 hours are over.
