It feels a bit slower to load than the old site but it definitely looks more modern. Compared to the old site I feel like I'm getting a slight information overload, but I guess you also added more content since I last saw the site.

In my opinion you should reconsider the way you rank exchanges. Ranking by user scores is prone to manipulation. That's probably also why you have relatively unknown exchanges leading the list with more established ranking closer to the middle or even the bottom.

One metric I'm missing from the exchanges list is for how long they've been active. I personally am more willing to trust an exchange that's been running reliably for 10 years with a slightly misconfigured SSL set-up then the new kid on he block that may know how to run the Letsencrypt certbot properly but has no idea about operational security.

Thank you for your input HeRetiK!

Maybe the slower feeling is due to caching? That last time you visited our old site it was cached whereas this new one is not? The site is in fact substantially faster than what it was prior to the update.

You're right that there is of course a manipulation risk when ranking by user scores. However, we feel that this is the most democratic way of ranking. Also, if we see that an exchange has received a 5-star rating from someone with a certain IP-number, and that 20-30 other exchanges have received 1-star ratings from the same IP-number, we can roll back these ratings to ensure accuracy and fairness in the rating system. But, as you correctly point out, there are of course issues with this ranking system as it is in most ranking systems. We are continously considering how to improve and enhance this function.

Thank you also in particular for the input on activeness. This data point is actually quite easy for us to obtain and present so I think we will include it in the next update!

All the best,
