I paid $1550 Bitcoin to purchase an Amazon.co.uk Giftcard. I went to purchase something using the giftcard and Amazon stated that the giftcard used was not valid and closed my account. Contacted my bank because an X amount of money was also meant to be taken from my bank to fulfil my order, and like before, they stated there’s no issues with my card but that the giftcard I received was most likely not legitimate.

I’m shocked and disappointed. Firstly, because I used this website previously and no issues were raised. Secondly, I sent them back a reply to an email they sent me a couple hours ago and haven’t been responded back to yet.

I wasn’t even using VPN nor was I outside the intended region as they told me in one email. I was using my home address WiFi in fact. I wasn’t reselling the giftcard either, as I was using for personal needs. My Amazon account wasn’t new either. It was created using the same IP address I’m using now in 2017. I also had payment details attached to my account as mentioned briefly before.

I would just like to receive my funds back. I worked hard to get this money. $1550 doesn’t just fall from a tree...
