With the help of wallet explorer, i was able to get and connect some of the profiles with their addresses. All the addresses belong to one HD Wallet which implies that one person is in control of them.

I'm just curious on how you can trace that those addresses were in the same wallet? Is that wallet explorer legit?

The wallet explorer is legit, and it link addresses have shared at least an output together (I think).
If you look at any of those address transaction on the blockchain eg:
https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/transaction/fcd1141a884c3126276d4a82338f50a79773a25eb95a881fdd7841a4e1bdb409 You'll see that all those addresses and even more are linked together by a single output, which also confirms they belong to a single wallet.
