It converts YouTube to MP4 and MP3 and the output file will not be compressed badly. At least I don't see any difference.

Converting to mp4 is easy to download But I think you can download directly from IDM without having to worry about converting. Here both mp3 and mp4 will be very easy to download. No need to convert.
