Let us clear a thing, the value in USD when received/send or the current USD price for the value you send or receive.
You can see the USD or many fiat values even in electrum desktop or mobile apps as well, all you need to do is to go to Tools => Preference => fiat => (select the source)Coinbase or similar sites

I never knew about this feature before, you gave me a new knowledge. I bet many other people do the same But more importantly, is there a way to set a price source? There are only 4 sources seen here and no Coinbase as described by Findingnemo
