As you may know, casinos all over the United States and the world have begun closing their doors to slow down the spread of the Coronavirus. While this has taken a financial toll on casinos, cafes, restaurants and hotels, etc, it has put the kibosh on problem gambling or at least made a serious dent in the lives of hopeless gambling addicts.
What will most gambling addicts do when they can no longer gamble at casinos, and what do you think they'll do when the casinos reopen in several months from now? Will most of them be finally cured of their gambling addiction, or will most of them return to their old ways?
If you have ever known a person that has been addicted to something you will know the answer to that, those that are addicted will always find a way to keep their addiction going on, as such one option for those people could be to try online gambling, before this crisis almost no casino in my community had an online casino but now at least two of them have one so addicted gamblers could keep their addiction going on that way, another thing they may try is that there are underground casinos that are not respecting the quarantine and they could play there as well, so as you can see I do not think the quarantine is going to have any effect in those that are addicted to gambling at all.
