Just to add, I used and still using bitcoin as payment for my domain (annual fee). Though the registrar company is using third party service provider, still very convenient for me if you don't want to use your credit/debit card. Also, in my country, we can pay monthly bills like electricity, water or even your insurance company and many others via bitcoin or eth just by using their platform. And to top up load also for the phone. So I can say, there are a lot of uses now for bitcoin. But if you want to hold it, just for the thought that someday it will increase its value, then all up to you.
