Ideally the majority of trade wouldn't even be on an exchange for another crypto but between users and for goods or services in some way.    Even BTC had this problem of over reliance on a particular exchange to begin with, I wouldnt say it stopped it being valid but just gave it bias which wasn't helpful long term.    Most tradable assets in the world are centered around 1 exchange on purpose I think its just that crypto prides itself on being decentralised and available in all working hours globally.
