post post addendum: I don't know of any scammers that have stuck around 1+ years after the alleged scam trying to make things right. Personally, I hate the "s" word and the semantic shift it's suffered here in this forum.
Dear crypto community,
Negligence is not the same as a scam or fraud. Let's use our big boy words correctly, please.
^ I actually think this highlights the danger of bitsler associating with Dean, it legitimizes him for people who don't know the full story.
@CHRISBIN702 If you want the tldr version; A few months before he closed betking he already had just blatantly scammed investors. He offered a token which was "pegged" to USD price, which he sold for bitcoin. So he made a killing when bitcoin price went up, and was quite aggressive in promoting. But after bitcoin price took a crash, the second bitcoin price went under the nominal value of the tokens, he just unilaterally decided that he'd rather keep peoples money than take any loses whats so ever, and wasn't going to honor the deal at all (which of course made the tokens virtually worthless).
He tried for a few months to keep his site running, but had pretty much zero volume as he couldn't escape his reputation after having just so blatantly scammed people. So instead of just shutting down like a decent human being, suddenly "whoops" oh no, someone knew the server seed. They won the entire bankroll + all players funds! Sorry everyone!!! Site is gone and all money too!
Now the only reason he's back, is because he attached his real name to the project. And even with millions of dollars, being known as a scammer kinda sucks.
