I have seen a video on bitcoin. On that video there was a person who had many bitcoins but at that time bitcoins were not so much used so he hidden those bitcoins in a place and made document about where the bitcoins was. But alas! When bitcoins got market he forgot where he kept those and lost the document. I don't know the exact price but it was more than 1 million.
Can you tell me is it a real or fake?
I remember a story back in 2013 about a guy who threw away his hard drive and his bitcoin wallet inside the drive had 4 million USD worth of Bitcoins(back in December 2013 the bitcoin price reached a 1200 USD ATH).There were many stories about such people,so I guess that your story isn't fake.
Most of the Bitcoin "horror stories" are about people forgetting their wallet passwords and losing access to BTC worth thousands of dollars,just because they can't remember a password.
Perhaps there are stories about bitcoin that is true when it was on the early stage, like people buying btc at less than a dollar, they stacked but forgot their private keys or wallet then the price suddenly increases 1000% , this could've been more true than the others saying that they have lost their hard drives containing bitcoin worth a million dollars cause some guys are just making a story just to get your attention.
