1. Have correct wallet version, open wallet, let it sync.
2. If you have encrypted (which you should), unlock wallet (this is done in debug window=>console tab, instructions posted further up in thread if you don't know how).
3. Leave wallet open, wait for it to stake some coins.
4. Oh - and you need some coins to begin with, matured min 8 hours. In your wallet.
