Investment and trading belong to a very macro field and it requires a lot of learning and acumen. This is not a job that everyone can be good at, it depends on the personality of each person. For example, if I am someone who cannot sit still for too long while waiting for my order to reach the target, then I will not be able to match the trader. I can only analyze and invest short term in good alts and I think I will belong to the type of investor.
It is true that the more we do it, the more we learn, the better. But first, determine what your strengths or weaknesses are, then decide on a job.

And how many tens of thousands of people thought that they had it all figured out before they got into trading, right?
Not a crypto trader beyond necessary means but I will admit I fooled.myself in many of the same ways 15 years ago. My poison was forex. Spent months charting, learning, discussing. Almost a year of test trading, solid baby pip results and an impressive track record. Then I go in, real cash account. Thinking, I know the rules, I know the strategy, I know my weaknesses.
I knew nothing haha. Real market conditions catch all of us. Real emotions because of real money. Ah the folly of youth.
