Thank your luck that you did not invest into the project, I did invest into it and have counted it has a loss, bad investment I chose to invest into it because of the Masternode and it was when the exchange tokens was gaining round.
Back then if you got into ICO hypes, this one is probably one of the real deal, I've followed the project and have invested a bit but like you, I already consider it as a loss right now.
I do not know why SEC has not gone after the team
I think this depends on what country they operate and depends of theirs a valid complains from investors.
