You see the alt market as bullish as another person sees it to be bearish - Get my point? One person's trash is another person's gold so it is upto you to decide what to hold for the future. There is no guarantee that altcoins will be rising in price even though there is also no guarantee of bitcoin price rise but among the two the greater good is achieved with bitcoin holding as per the data that you can gather from previous charts and buying/selling patterns.
