Yeah, oil's price went negative is not something everyone could foresee. But i think can't apply it to crypto especially bitcoin having is around the conner. Hopefully, bitcoin having could be some drive for altcoins and ETH in general.
No one will anticipate that the price of oil would go negative and now the price of oil recovered because of the decision of the US president, these are uncharted situation and no one anticipated the entire world would shut down literally because of a virus scare because we are living in a modern world with technology and the medical science has advanced so much and still we are not able to do anything till now and hence we cannot predict anything how the market will behave.
