Some campaigns/ managers in the past had such kind of criteria while picking up a participant but now everything changed and thanks for the merit system which gives reference for who is good and bad posters.I played with my rewards but never wanted to gamble just because to be a part of it.
I don't think many signature campaign managers care about merit.
After all, if you take a look, the vast majority of merit earned by most of the merit earners are from the Wall Street Observer thread (no signatures) and Meta section where people basically circlejerk each other about their ideas for the forum.
Most of the merit is circulated across a select few individuals in these subforums, and there really isn't point in hiring people if they earned their merit in these places.
Now, if they're contributing to relevant sections like the gambling section, then that's another story.
