Buggy or not it is what it is, there is not too much they can do, imo.
Is normal because they don't test the releases since this is the Testnet.
BTW I recommend that the validation scored be lowered to 75% we are building a community and it's good to have new members every validation I have a lot of invitees failed on their first two tries even though they have passed the test yourself program, some members are even blaming newbies for failing the test, when in fact they do want to pass the test, I hope they can consider my proposal.
