But if a gambler is already out of his mind, he will have to be force to go under rehab to be cured, and though it could be against his will, but eventually he will realize that he needs to cooperate to live a normal life. Problem with addicted gamblers is they are not thinking straight anymore, so sometimes a force is needed for them to separate from gambling which is the source of their addiction.

Treatment against the will of the patient can only give a temporary healing effect. A person may not return to old habits for a while. His passion for gambling will be preserved, but it will be hidden and temporarily suppressed. But the time will come and the person will return to his addiction.

This is exactly the same as with the desire to quit Smoking, until you really realize what harm it does to your body and do not want to get rid of the habit yourself, then no one will force you to do it.
I think there is no need for them to rehab because the true cure is depends to their selves once they want to stop or have control they can do that. Not all the people who get in the rehab are totally cure because once it's done and they go outside they start again their bad habits but they have totally cure but less percentage only to the people who get that treatment.

I would say that expensive and long-term rehabilitation is not necessary for recovery. In this case, it is more important that the patient himself wants to recover and leave his harmful addictions. However, if money and time allows you to go through rehabilitation, it is unlikely to hurt.
