Currencies vary from each country and it will become another concern about how these countries would convert their currency into the gold standard base in USD. Instead of going back to a gold standard, --it will be better to have bitcoin as a global currency because it is decentralized and no capitalist would solely own it. Indeed, if we will go back to the gold standard there will be a lot of adjustments to do like doing transactions online.
