Just because a man carries a gun doesn't mean he's an idiot. I think guns in this situation are a means of preventing people from getting tired of lying about the coronavirus situation and they call on police officers to think with their heads and not just follow orders.

As history has shown, in most revolutions, the police and the army end up on the civilian side because they are essentially the same citizens.
