I would connect my smartmeter to the ENRG ecosystem in a blink of an eye.
In about a year I would like to have solar panels on my roof to generate my own electricity, which I could than sell in excess and buy when I have not enough.
A decentralized energy-grid would help tremendous in the reliability of the grid (although in the Netherlands that is pretty good, but other parts of the world would benefit even more), but most importantly it would speed the way to a sustainable production and consumption. I could sell my excess solar during the day, or maybe when I have battery storage I can sell it a bit more expensive during the night.
I see great potential and I am very exited

There are soo many rules in the world of energy supply and delivering energy to your neighbors and so on.
The government is afraid to lose tax income and the network operator is afraid to lose control when the networks become smart in a decentral way. They allow small experiments in The Netherlands but mass adoption is years from here IMO.
Sorry to sound a bit negative but over the past 5 years I have learned a lot about the energy world and have become a bit hesitant about the applicability of ideas that have been developed.
But I have now a good contact with a person on the board of the greenest energy supplier in The Netherlands.
They have a point program and I have installed a device (BOKS) to read my smart meter in realtime and send it to their App.
What if EnergyCoin Foundation has a good talk with them and makes the connection with EnergyCoin?
Have a nice day,
Jan
