Yes, I experienced a very similar situation with BitForex and I can confirm that BitForex is a scam exchange. Stay away. Anyone can read up on my experience and how got my money back following the link below or on SheldCob on r/bitcoin on Reddit.

He has been scammed by bitforex, coinbe, revolut, oqkex and every time he has recovered his funds with this company..
Yeah right...
They will claim they can recover your money for a fixed fee, you pay and then they are gone.
My problem has not been resolved, they do not return the money, they reply to letters in support with standard phrases that they are investigating, wait ... Who can tell me what to do in this situation?
