If houses always win, then why would others still spend time playing at online casinos?

Just ask yourself the opposite question. What if playing in the casino was unprofitable for the casino itself and they had to pay for it? Right, the casinos would go bankrupt immediately.
So the statement is true, in the end the casino has to generate income just like any other company.
I don't think most of us gamble because we think we can get rich quickly. For the majority of players, I think the fun of the game itself is more important than the potential profit.

Checking their ANN thread and their account would be enough, if they have a scam accusation, they'll be tag by DT members so that tag will visible and gamblers who will try to investigate on the site will see the reputation of the site through their bitcointalk account.

Tagging usually only takes place when something has already happened. If a casino plans an exit scam they will operate normally as long as possible to get as many deposits as possible and carry out the scam when the bank roll is high enough. There was recently an exit scam of a mixer, the process was similar. Only when a correspondingly large sum should be mixed, the scam was pulled through, but until then the operator here had no conspicuous tags and even organized a signature campaign.
