I think you are missing a point, bitcoin is widely accepted to a certain extent, but there is not corresponding adoption for other crypto currencies as bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the king, solid, easy and quick to use, and businesses are already incorporating bitcoin as a payment mode. Only 0.5% of existing tokens will be beneficiaries of mainstream adoption once bitcoin takes over.
