Technically speaking anything can happen but I do not find a very likely that we are going to see such a huge drop in the price of bitcoin before the halving, yesterday the price of bitcoin grew up in a significant way and we were close to break the 9000 barrier, so if anything it seems we are headed in the opposite direction and we could see some growth during the next months so if you are waiting for that drop the price to happen in order to buy bitcoin then it is likely that you're not going to buy any bitcoin during that timeframe.
