Airdrop = mostly you can see it in social media posted in different groups sometimes you can see it also in altcoin bounties sections .
About the airdrops, someone needs to be careful, there are some scammers that makes use of fake airdrops to get personal details that can be used in phishing attacks, also the links on the airdrop page can contain malware that can be used to steal bitcoin from your wallet .
I wonder who would be so dumb to give personal details for a couple of dollars. The time when airdrop could give you 50 or 100 dollars are gone. I understand that in late 2017 people could pass KYC to receive an airdrop, but in 2020 ? Why would even project need personal details for ? Person that participates in airdrop is not an investor, who probably should give some info about history of his funds. I understand that exchange, that operates with fiat could run an airdrop and ask to pass KYC, but why would others do that?
